On Saturday, the regime and the militias were able to take control of the AL-OMAL and the Sports Union building and the municipal stadium, after clashes that killed dozens of members of the ISIS and the attacking forces.
About 2,000 civilians remain in the remaining neighborhoods under the control of the IISIS in the city of Deir al-Zour, the majority of whose population has been displaced, amid reports of the death and injury of a number of them because of intensive aerial bombardment and shelling of the city for days.
