Our sources, who provided us with i
nformation, indicated that the regime forces, the Kurdish militias and the Russian mercenaries, which the regime calls the “allied forces”, crossed the Euphrates River from the West Bank (Shami) to the other side of the island on Tuesday,To be concentrated in two adjacent areas (two points of contact with areas under the control of the SDF militia) from the villages of Khasham and Marat, for which the Coalition is now targeting.
Our sources point out that the reason for the attack by US aircraft is to disrupt the regime and its allies under the condition established by the US-led coalition of having a limited number of elements allowed to reach these points, but the numbers of those who were stationed two days ago were much larger than they were Agreement, which led to the attack that took place today. On the night of February 7, the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor witnessed the largest confrontation between the international coalition and its forces, on the one hand, and the regime and its allies on the other, when the regime and militia forces tried to move from a new village to a jaded Akidat, Under the control of either party, and is a separation zone between them, so that the alliance through its aircraft hit the military line intensively, and launched raids on the positions of the regime and militias in the towns of Khasham and Merat.
A US official told Reuters a day after the attack that more than 100 members of the regime and militias were killed, adding that the forces carrying out the attack included about 500 elements, supported by artillery, tanks, multi-barrel rocket systems and mortars. The first confrontation between the two sides, prior to the two attacks, was when the coalition bombed a bridge near the Muhaimida area in the western village of Deir Ezzor, which the regime and the Russians tried to build to move to the other side of the river.
The coalition then struck a point of the regime forces in Husseiniya in the countryside of Deir Ezzor. The regime then set it up as a military point run by the Russians, to avoid new blows to the alliance.
