White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki said: “We did not lose any American soldiers in the recent bombing of the Al Tanf border base last Wednesday, and the incident is being investigated with the right to respond.”

She added, “The military facility, according to the US Central Command, was subjected to a deliberate and coordinated attack, according to preliminary data, while drones and missiles were used in the attack.”

We do not know the number of casualties in the ranks of the American military at the present time, but of course the United States always knows the appropriate way to respond firmly to all threats.

In response to a journalist about the fact that some countries, including those that are partners of the United States, support the normalization of relations with the Syrian regime, Psaki said:

“Nothing has changed in the American position on the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad,” spokeswoman Jen Psaki confirmed, “that the position of the United States on the Assad regime has not changed.”

The American position on the Syrian file has not changed since the three presidential terms of three presidents, namely Barack Obama 2009-2017 Donald Trump 2017-2021 and current President Joe Biden.
