“Second hand goods” alternative for the new clothes for Qamishli people as a result of fictional prices.

Special to Euphrates Post: the wintry clothes prices increases to “three-fold” in Qamishli, which forced people to buy the second hand goods “Balla” as an alternative of new clothes.

Where the city markets of Hasakah and Qamishli facing a huge increasing in prices of wintry clothes in comparision of the last year, and that’s is due to higher goods freight rates as the merchants said, where a one “coat” costs now more than 23.000 SP after it was costed almost only 6.000 SP.

People prefered to buy their clothes from “Balla” because its more cheaper than new one, and for example the costumer can buy a good coat only for 3.500 SP while the new one maybe costs more than 20.000 SP, and people nowadays don’t have the capability of buying.
