According to sources with the “Euphrates Post”, the forces of the regime and militias on Tuesday morning managed to control parts of the area of Ghassan Abboud from the AL-MATAR ALKADIM -old airport district, which was seized earlier, in conjunction with the progress in the neighborhood of Khasarat and Round the Alsyuof
During the past hours, the regime and the Russians continued to launch air raids on the remaining neighborhoods under the control of the ISIS inside Deir Al-Zour, hours after an air strike targeted the Al-Ayyour bridge between the neighborhood of Huwayqa and other neighborhoods of Deir Al-Zour. the service.
In the case of civilians stranded in the city who were unable to leave,EuphratesPost learned that the security forces had arrested a number of them during the past 48 hours and transferred them to the Joura schools and the military security branch west of Deir al-Zour, without knowing their fate so far.
According to the information received, most of them were arrested from the neighborhoods of Hamidiya, Al-Omal and AL-Jubaila.
These developments in the field in light of the military campaign launched by the forces of the regime and militias on the city of Deir al-Zour about a week ago, and succeeded in reaching the neighborhood of Hamidiya downtown Deir Al-Zour, for the first time since the exit of this district from its control in 2012.
It also managed to take control of the AL -omal, the Sports Union building and the municipal stadium, after clashes that killed dozens of elements of the organization and the attacking forces.
A source with the Euphrates Post reported earlier that the city of Deir al-Zour was almost devoid of foreign leaders and soldiers of the Islamic state, and most of them remained loyal local fighters or supporters.
