Iran is increasing its use of the Al-Qaim-Al Bukamal crossing to transport food, weapons and pilgrims

In conjunction with the announcement of the entry into force of Caesar’s law targeting the Assad regime and those who support it, the Qaim Albukamal border crossing will be witnessed, An increased activity, as dozens of trucks loaded with fruits, wheat and barley from Iraq entered the regime’s control areas in the Syrian interior.
According to information obtained by the “Euphrates Post” from a source who requested anonymity, the “Revolutionary Guard” militia and the “Iraqi” Hashd “began to increase their activity and use of the Al-Qaim Albukamal crossing.
The last convoy was to enter today, Tuesday, to go to the security square in Al-Maari Street in Albukamal, where weapons and ammunition entered the Al-Maari School, in addition to Iranian food trucks that settled in Al-Assi’at neighborhood to support the Tehran militias, while the rest of the trucks went to the cities of Deir Ezzor and Al-Mayadeen.
On the other hand, the past days also witnessed the entry of trucks loaded with Syrian vegetables and fruits, wheat and barley into the Iraqi markets coming from Syria, noting the high prices of most of these materials within the areas controlled by the Assad regime.
This coincided with the increasing number of buses arriving on a daily basis from Iraq to Syria, carrying Iranian and Afghan pilgrims, and it was recently recorded that 15 buses were entered, the first in months, and their destination is Damascus and the Sayyidah Zainab region.
