Bodies and violations and a grim picture of reality and the future .. This is how in Deir ez-Zor lives a year after the regime and militias control

by admindiaa

The areas under the control of the regime and its allies in Deir al-Zour (west of the Euphrates), one of its worst stages, are living under increasing violations and crimes against civilians

In spite of the fact that a year has passed since the expulsion of ISIS from the region, which was followed by declarations and promises by the regime and its Iranian and Russian allies, the facts proved to be nothing more than media bubbles aimed at propaganda and politics.

The arrests, under various names and pretexts, have been prominent in recent months. In recent months, enforced disappearances and torture in prisons have increased, and some of the names of their victims have been revealed day after day.

A year after the end existence in Deir al-Zour, the regime was carrying out some minor service reforms within the neighborhoods of Deir al-Zour, especially under its control over the past years (Western neighborhoods), focusing on amplifying its work, Electricity to area here, or patching a street there, with almost complete neglect of the other neighborhoods destroyed by air and artillery bombardment over almost 5 years.

In spite of the policy of forced conscription, or the “adaptation” of the youth of that region, where he devoted his military presence and the activation of the work of the security branches in each area he regained, with almost complete negligence For health, service and educational aspects, except for some limited and shy steps here, there.

As a result of the above, a decrease in the number of returnees to their areas in Deir al-Zour was observed during the last three months, after the false promises that began the beginning of the siege of Deir al-Zour and the restoration of control over villages, Whether related to the service side, or the security aspect.

After the expulsion of the “ISIS”, some remaining civilians in their areas or returnees thought that their innocence of membership charges or their dependencies would be sufficient to live safely, away from security pursuits, retaliation carried out by the regime’s forces and security branches and iran Militias.

But as soon as the arrests of civilians inside or during their return began to increase from the new occupying powers (Ross, regime, Iran’s militias), their fate remains unknown for a long time,

Before the chance to lead to the disclosure of the fate of some of them, and most notably what is mentioned here, the bodies of about 50 civilians were found inside their villages and towns after the expulsion of “ISIS”, but disappeared with the first days of the entry of the regime and its militias to their areas about a year ago, Their bodies are found inside a sewer in the village of Taybeh (Al-Hama neighborhood), in rural areas east of Deir al-Zour, last week.

One of the incidents that raised fears of the return of the population, cases of forced disappearance of individuals, leading to the disappearance of entire families, without knowing the fate so far, including the arrest of family members in the city of Albukmal by the security of the Regime, on the seventh of this month, and repeated this in Other areas of the province’s countryside.

Deir al-Zour and its villages in the areas under the control of the regime, the news of the death of detainees under torture in the prisons of the Assad regime was returned. The last victim was Taha Mohammed al-Abbas, who died in prison. In Deir al-Zour, whose fate has not yet been determined.

The arrest of young men and men in compulsory or reserve military service was strongly present throughout the areas under the Deir al-Zour regime, and the arrest of dozens of men over 40 years of age were documented as being wanted for reserve services.

Cases of arrests of youths and men from areas under the control of the SDF were also documented without giving reasons or charges.

The most striking thing in this context is the state of oppression that has increased to every o

pposing opinion within the areas of control of the regime, the Russians and the militias in Deir al-Zour, even though these opinions do not go beyond some criticisms of service aspects or the poor living conditions currently experienced by civilians.

During the past two days, the first French language teacher was arrested at the Directorate of Education in Deir al-Zourand some of his confidants said that his arrest was due to his complaints and criticisms of abuses related to his field of work,by of elements of the security Regime and others affiliated with Iranian militias.

Deir Ezzor, in its now-lawless part, has not seen any change in its reality after the ISIS came out of it. The only thing that is different is the change of violators. In addition to the regime and its security, there are the Russians and the multi-national sectarian militias.

The regime is keen to restore the “subordination” of the province, not only militarily and militarily, but also to expand its policy horizontally and vertically in various other aspects. To the Baath party, or to its affiliated organizations (al-Baath Party, the youth), noting that this approach was not noticed in other Syrian areas subject to regime rule again, only in a limited and small-scale manner.

Many question marks, about the reasons for the keenness to keep Deir Al-Zour in the first place to be worse .. Seriously, politically and security, as it is during the years of control of the “ISIS” three?

Is it a case of revenge from the people of the province who tasted the regime in the early years of the revolution, or are those keen on this situation .. other goals ?.
